Srila Prabhupada – The Sampradaya Acharya

One South Indian Ramanuja guru remarked in 1976 after viewing one of Srila Prabhupada’s books and witnessing the preaching of some of his young disciples: “This person is the summum bonum of all acaryas.” Thus it is the foremost duty of any sincere disciple and follower of Srila Prabhupada to emphasize the unique and distinct position and accomplishment of Srila Prabhupada as the visva acarya, or the world acarya, the Jagat Guru, by his accomplishments, and not merely by a self-given title. He is the actual sampradaya acarya to be surrendered to and fully served by all Vaisnavas and all preachers and preceptors in the future.

Authority of the Acharya

Srila Prabhupada presented the transcendental knowledge of the parampara or preceptorial disciplic succession in his books. The proponents of on-going changes after the departure of the acharya (the vikara-vadis) have yet to present verifiable evidence from His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada himself where he specifically and directly authorized these post departure changes.

Vedic Village Review #47

New Jaipur is a positive alternative to the rapidly devolving situation in the modern world. Nuclear war approaches, and humanity is due for much turmoil which can only be alleviated by establishing Prabhupada’s varnashrama Hare Krishna farms. New Jaipur Vedic Village farm project retains Srila Prabhupada as the sole diksa guru, via ritvik representatives. We are part of Prabhupada’s transcendental mission which is situated beyond the now-corrupted original institution.

The Lilamrta Review

Srila Prabhupada is a pure devotee always, being an eternally liberated associate of the Lord.

He did not have a material past at any time. Being an associate of Lord Sri Krsna, he is properly understood to never have been contaminated by matter. As we knew him, his so called material body was not at all material. Heat, cold, happiness and distress, hunger and thirst, birth, disease, old age, and death never touched him.

It is not correct that he felt or suffered these mundane influences and pains in a mood of tolerance. He never even felt them, according to the scriptures.
